Our Farm

Hawk Dance Farm is a small market farm in the lovely rural farming community of Hillsdale, NY. Our farm is on 3 acres of beautiful land that is located between Hudson NY and Great Barrington MA.

On our land we utilize no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides in our farming practices. Our farm is not mechanized and we do everything sustainably by hand, we are committed to low impact, non-toxic methods. Our soil is nourished with rich compost and green manure cover crops and we use low till methods to preserve the health of the soil.

On our farm we grow a variety of heirloom vegetables, herbs and flowers and by doing so we are conserving the heritage of our forefathers.

Our produce, herbs and flowers are available at several farmers’ markets as well as local natural food stores and restaurants, and our farm stand.

We also make by hand, 100% Pure Beeswax candles using only local beeswax which is our commitment to supporting our fellow farmers.

We have a small CSA with shares available for this season. Inquiries welcome.

We are a New York State Certified Nursery and sell vegetable plants grown in our greenhouse.
