CSA
Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the community’s farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. Typically, members or “share-holders” of the farm pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm operation. In return, they receive shares in the farm’s bounty throughout the growing season, as well as satisfaction gained from reconnecting to the land and participating directly in local food production. Members also share in the risks of farming, including poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests.
Our CSA has several options for member shares:
We have half shares available which will feed 1-2 adults for $325.00
Full shares will feed 3-4 adults for $625.00
We also have work shares available. In exchange for weekly work helping out at the farm you will receive a weekly bag of produce.
We are a very small farm doing everything by hand working with, instead of against nature. The care in our techniques is reflected in the quality of our vegetables. We feel the taste of our produce far surpasses what you would find in a grocery store due to the attention and care given during the cultivation and harvest.
If you are willing to invest in the best tasting, highest quality ingredients, than our CSA is for you.
